Mental Health
Providing evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and medication management for mood disorders, depression, bipolar, stress disorders, anxiety, panic, substance use, PTSD, schizophrenia, obsessive compulsive disorder, personality disorders, insomnia, & ADHD (attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder). Some medical conditions can cause symptoms such as anxiety and depression, so when indicated, I can help with a medical workup (such as labs) and referral to a medical provider, if needed. Other services offered include:
Referral to a therapist/counselor;
Referral for ADHD, autism, or neuropsychological testing, if we are unsure about a diagnosis;
Referral to a higher level of care such as intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, or residential treatment.
Eating Disorders
Providing evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and medication management for all eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, & binge eating disorder. Frequently, eating disorder treatment will include monitoring labs for electrolyte abnormalities or nutritional deficiencies. I believe that eating disorders are best addressed through a team treatment approach and I can assist clients in connecting to a nutritionist and therapist/counselor.
